(A letter to the staff of Columbia Lutheran Nursing Home, complaining
about their treatment of Pansy. Recorded in August of 1974.)
Love & Afferications to Mother 1. I want things back the way they were befor August 3rd 1974, (Pansy told George she won't do something she wants her to do,(Everett Jensen) And you are punishing her over it. 2. Pansy shall be able to have same rights that any other inmates have. 3. To see 15 minute show on Monday 7PM, see 1/2 hour church services on Thursday 7PM 4. Be able to eat in lunch room, like Kathline McDonald, who is about 45 & been in a wheel chair since she was born. 5. Never once have they offer George a tray to eat, you did say if pansy lives to Christmas may be Geo can eat lunch if her, at Western State Hospital, (were police told Geo in car, (were you trying to put him, ) You had that trap set special, to he would act up, dieing to get something on him, at Wester State, people visiting inmate can in if them for only 50 cents in dinning room, Food is a lot better there then here for sure 6. Geo shall be able to see his mother any time from 9AM to 7;30 PM, went doors are lock to the public, 7. Be it understand went doors are open to other visitors they are open to George, 8. George, shall be able to bring Pansy any kind of fruit or other goodie she may crave for, from time to time, 9. I want to know that I am George's lawyer, and not your legal aid lawyer, you seem to for get that, 10. I do not want to make fun of that poor scik girl (She may be here 50 years) Kathline Mc Donald, I was told by Martha Williams, frinds from Zion lutheran church, her family take her to Zion on Sunday morning, and bring her back after supper, they allso had her out for a 3 week vacationand bought her back this past Tuesday 8 6 74 11. George wants some pricery (He dont want door open and office door open, takeing down what he talks about to make dailey report to you. 12. Why did they call police because George wanted Pansy to wash president Nixon on TV at 6pm. 13 Why can't Pansy have a phone in her room like other inmates have, about 1/3 of them to Geo can phone her, & Pansy can call other frinds/?/. 14. What did you mean you told George in front of policeman (Pansy got to say here for life, because I said so, you told Geo he is not his mother's guardian, & I am not either thanks to George, you act like it non of Georg'es busnines what you do to her 15. Out at Zion lutheran, back in late 40's George's dad (Late Harry Kotolaris) remember Kathline at Zion, in front seat near alther in that wheel chair, at Zion, were they use to make Geo & Pansy set up stairs to no one could see him, Kathline had no greek blood, Harry Kotolaris could never understand that, that girl was very sick, 1948. 16. This past week I was told 3 diffen people came to see her and you would not leave them in to see Pansy, went she was waiting for them. 17. You know all this callin the police is very good for Pansy health, keeping her worry about Geo night & day, makeing her get up at 6Am and puting her to bed at 1PM time you set for George's visit, 19. I don't fear people should look down on Pansy because she has that greek name, 2 woman told Pansy at coffee hour they felt Geo was born in greece, why they would not talk to her or Geo, they thing she is a bad woman because she married a greek. 19. Pansy shall be able to go to coffe hour at 2PM went they have it, you said your self Pansy injoy going to that . 20. That is why you had set the 2PM visit, people are a faid to speak to Pansy, might get on unfair list. 21. You told Geo befor Pansy came here, Pansy could come if she wanted to, be glad to have her, (but not against her will) 22. You told Rick Anderson, you took her in because there was no space else for her to go 23. You have no rejections of greek cuminity finding her a space. 24. I do not want to here that you are picking on poor Pansy for no leason again.
