Philip Dray


Phil Dray is the co-author, with Seth Cagin, of Between Earth and Sky: How CFCs Changed Our World and Endangered the Ozone Layer (Pantheon, 1993); We Are Not Afraid : The Story of Goodman, Schwerner, and Chaney and the Civil Rights Campaign for Mississippi (MacMillan, 1988); and Born to Be Wild: Hollywood and the Sixties Generation (originally published by Harper & Row in 1984 as Sex, Drugs, Violence Rock 'n' Roll and Politics: Hollywood Films of the Seventies). He is also a founding member of The Scene Is Now, a New York-based musical venture (their compilation disk "The Oily Years: 1983-1993" was released by BarNone in 1995).
