This is a single-celled protozoan parasite, averaging 13 micrometers in length. It passes from one host to another via sexual intercourse, causing Trichomonas Vaginalis. This disease produces secretions which are toxic to its hosts. Infected women generally experience unusual white vaginal discharges. In men, sites of infection include the renal pelvis, ureter, bladder, prostate, urethral glands, urethra, and epididymis.
