Well, I dyed the bleach-blond parts of my hair Midnight Blue last week-- sort of an homage to my past, when dying hair was a regular stopgap for anomie. It was cheapo vegetable dye, though-- not searing toxic chemicals-- so the suds in the shower have been blue for days. And it never was Midnight Blue anyway-- the yellowishness of the blond streaks made it perriwinkle, which actually looks kind of understated and natural. Here's how it looks now.It's really kind of grey. That's depressing.
