Tim's voice comes over the intercom.
"The plane will be landing soon. Thank
you for flying flight 69. I hope you've had a nice flight."
Debra and I applaud heartily as the plane makes a perfect landing. We high
five. Stupid grins spread clear across our faces. Captain Tim's voice comes
back diplomatically over the intercom: "Feel free to have a ten minute
warm-down period before leaving."
I don't want a warm-down period. I've drunk too much champagne and I really
have to use the bathroom.
Still, I had a really good time. I'm actually thinking about becoming a
frequent flyer. My next goal? Submarines. All in all, this has been a good
day at work.
