Kurt Hollander lives in Mexico and commutes regularly to New York, his home town. He is the editor of Poliester, a contemporary art magazine of the Americas. He edited the anthology of NYC writing entitled Low Rent (Grove Press, NYC, 1994). "Memories of Sexual Development" first appeared in The Portable Lower East Side.
