Sunday night at 1:25 a.m.



May God help me, I sewed that skirt and blouse for the school play & 
my own skirt ALL WEEKEND! I felt like coming through on time for 
once.  All that's left is the fitting & hand sewing that I need 
Mary for. I used those cool buttons that you make yourself with the 
material you're using. I like to sew because
     
     1) It erases 1 link between me & the animal the cloth came from, &
     2) It's cheaper,
     3) You can get clothes exactly the way you want them
     4) It gives me a feeling of satisfaction & pride,
     5) It feels like I'm cheating the big corporations somehow--like 
     	robbing them sort of since I'm not buying their shitty clothes. 
     	I spose they own Simplicity or Singer or Vogue or Butterick, 
     	etc. probly though. Oh well, you can't fight city hall (at 
     	least not all the time).
